Selfish-
Closed my eyes and drank in the smell
that was so undeniably and deliciously you
We were skin to skin, but you pulled me closer
whispering “now stay with me”
as if I wanted to be anywhere else
Watched you gather your things
sick to my stomach seeing you go
Never in my life had I wanted to be selfish
as badly as I did in this moment
To wrap my arms around your neck
pull you back into the sea of blankets
and whisper “now stay with me”
