How much power can we give a couple feet of glass?
400, 500, 200, 1000, 500. Done
Ignoring it is impossible, believe me I have tried.
400, 500, 200, 1000, 500, 200. NO
It is a tornado, stopping at nothing to suck me in and f*** me up.
400, 500, 1000, 500. YES
As it picks me up, I let myself go loose.
400, 500, 1000, 700. Eh
I melt into a puddle of self loathing and drown in a sea of baggy clothes.
500, s***!, 300, 900, 400. Done
Lying and shoving it into a box is impossible, believe me I have tried.
300, yes!, 500, 200, 1000, 500. No more.
It cannot be eaten or outrun or outsmarted.
400, 500, 200, 1000, 900. Godammit you’re a failure.
It manages to perch on my shoulders everyday, as I sink further and further.
400, 500, 200, 1000. Good.
It checks the numbers, sometimes twice.
400, 500, 200, 1000, 500. Done.
It is a silent dictator, and the numbers are its commanders
200, 400, 700, 500. Good job
But this war has been going on for so long that I’ve lost track
200, 500, 800, 700. Fatass
I had reinforcements. I was winning. Then one shot and I was down
300, 500, 600, 600. Ugh
Where did my armor go? Mom!You’re supposed to help me with this. You’re supposed to understand!
200, 500, 900, 800. S***
“You have to get to 110. You understand that right?”
250, 400, 1000, 400. Fine
Mom! You don’t understand! It’s not just about the pounds it’s about the problem!
250, 550, 800, 700. I should go run.
Because no matter how far I go, how far I think I have come, or the number on that goddamn scale
300, 500, 850, 850. Gross
It’s still there. It is my blood, my bones, it is me.
200, 450, 800, 600. Okay.
But I can’t accept that. I won’t. No battle is forever.
