I had a little girl
Walk up to me with
Golden curls moving like a slinky

up and down, up and down
I watched them go

she looked at me with
big beautiful blue eye
and she asked me

Are you an Angel?

I looked at her in confutation
I asked “what do you mean?”
she told me

my mom said that people with
drawings and their arm
are Angels that want to go home

my eyes started to tear up
she looked at me and said
my mommy is an Angel

she went back home

then she skipped away
in a beautiful white dress

weren’t going up an down

she stopped and looked
back at me and said

you’re a beautiful Angel

girl was her little white
dress and her curls

she vanished into the light
