Crying Out
Do you hear it?
Listen closely.
No really!
It's quiet,
It's soft,
It's barely noticeable,
But it's there.
I'm crying, the pain is slowly taking over.
Now listen.
Can you hear the soft sobs behind closed doors?
Put your ear to the door, can you hear it now?
I'm here, hiding so you don’t have to see me be weak.
Can you see it on my face as I walk out of my room?
The redness,
The puffiness,
The pain,
The tears that are still streaming down my face.
Do you see that something is wrong?
Can you?
It's all there.
Everything you need to look out for so you can save me.
It's there; you just need to look deeper.
Save me!
Help me!
Stop the pain,
The tears,
The brokenness,
Stop it all,
Before I do.
