hauntingly beautiful
I want to be hauntingly beautiful
I want people to feel so strongly that the words can’t slip off their tongues and the only way to express how they feel is by dancing under stars and praying for more time
When I speak I never fully express what on the inside, what it’s like to cry on the floor at 2 am
When everyone is sleeping and I lay awake sobbing
I haven’t been eating
Nor hoping, or talking
I want to be hauntingly beautiful so that when people see me they smile but when they hear me they’ll cry
Dyeing beautifully, to be found in lingerie and the dress I never wore, makeup covering my scars and blemishes and hair so freshly curled you could still feel heat upon touching it, though blood covered and tear streaked so that you can’t seem to tell if I died with longing for happiness or longing to escape it
Like a single rose wilting alone, hauntingly beautiful
