Infinite
The illusion is that of life itself.
Its of yesterday and today and tomorrow.
There is no past or present or future.
There just is.
Who's to say we're not all stuck in a dream?
A neverending dream full of miracles
and happily ever afters
but also full of nightmares
and terrors of the unknown.
Who knows...
Maybe our fear itself is also an illusion?
Or maybe its the illusion that we actually fear.
Our actions could be decided
by the hands of a puppet master.
Pulling our strings and making us dance
for no other reason than his own merry amusement.
Perhaps we just exist.
For no other reason than to carry on.
What if there is no grand plan?
No infinite.
What if we live in a snow globe
and the sparkling stars we see at night
are the product of a mother
picking us up and shaking us?
All the while telling a small child stories
of knights and castles and princesses
in far off lands. What if there is such a thing
as the boogey-man and there are monsters under the bed
and all it takes is our belief in them
to make them real?
Maybe they're not evil. Maybe thats exactly what they need.
Someone to believe in them.
What if our every thought
was generated by a person unknown
in a lab coat? Working a five to nine job
with two kids at home and tired eyes,
typing a neverending algorithm ino a computer.
What if our whole civilization-
Our whole world
lived on one tiny flower? And that flower
sat in a field, on top of a cliff, on another planet,
in another universe, with its very own infinite.
