Oblivion
Oblivion means to be forgotten.
It means that the life you just lived is not going to be remembered.
It means your accomplishments your life's work is a piece of paper with a few words.
A piece of wood and metal that would soon be forgotten.
A college degree that is like a distant memory.
It means that the words you said and the actions you did are gone.
It means that the clothes you wore and the swag you had are gone.
It means the life you just lived is not going to be remembered.
Alive you had the world in the palm of your hand.
But dead the world slipped through your fingers like sand.
You lived life extravagant and grand.
But we all die and we are all forgotten.
Like the seasons we change and like memories we fade away.
Fade away into oblivion.
