Eclipse
The dark nights make way for bright days
Farewell to the moon
Bright colors stream the sky
Like god reaching down to Earth
The sun smiles at the world
Finally awoken
She hurries to see her opposite
Always across but never close enough to touch
As disappointment sets in
She slows down
All hope is gone
Until that one day
Even for just a moment
They dance in the sky
Torn away again
Not to see one another for years more
