Behind my face
there is a war
Me against me
Mind over matter
Right vs wrong
The crude me
is winning
It's evoking
my devious thoughts
Rousing my
demons to play
It's invigorating
my inner darkness
pulling it
to the surface
suffocating my happiness
smothering my thoughts
This continuous battle
slices my heart
I am losing
the darkness is captivating
my soul
What can
I do?
Besides follow
my soul?
