A gust of breath on a newly lit change.
A bite creeping in the air.
The giant’s cloak changes and falls,
Lining the floor with a calico blanket.
The beast goes into a slumber,
And day battles with eve for the power of attention.
A frozen taste finds one’s weary mouth.
Warmth is slowly seeping from her skin.
