Friendships or Hardships
Friends.
The wonderful siblings you never had.
Your bonds are unbreakable,
Or so you thought.
But someone slipped.
Someone always does.
But this one fell farther than ever before.
And no one reached out in kindness.
The person you once saw as a friend is looking upon you in disgust.
They're the one that fails to see why they should help.
Yet every time before now they did.
What is wrong with our world?
Yes we're individuals,
But without one another we wouldn't survive.
So why must we look upon each other in great disgust?
What did we ever do to deserve this treatment?
These horrible hardships?
Friendship is the key to life.
It has fallen on the floor,
So complete the difficult task
And pick it up.
It's worth more than you'll ever know.
It's the gold and the treasure of our marvelous world.
And it lives on through eternity.
It's the thing we've always sought yet never known exactly what it was we were searching for.
But now we know.
So will you pick it up?
Or leave it to collect dust?
