Longing To Escape
The warm breeze that touched my face
I looked up to the sky and started to gaze
The puffy clouds, the blueness of the sky
Oh how wonderful it must be to fly
I closed my eyes and I thought
Having been lost and distraught I desired to be found
Just like that I rose from the ground
Spread my arms like a bird and took off into the wilderness without a sound.

Thank you to everyone who read my previous work. I really appreciate it. In honor of Poetry Month, I would like to share this piece I wrote. At times, we may be feeling down and hopeless, not knowing what our next motive is in life. However, I encourage you to don't let these problems destroy you. Instead, do things that you love to do. dance, write music or even write a poem. You never know how much your thoughts could expand until you allow it to. Think Big, Dream Big and most importatnly Work Harder to achieve what you want.
