What I see
I roll out of bed, walk to the bathroom.
Try to look into the mirror. I cant look into my eyes instead,
I see a nose broken and bloody.
I see a forehead wrinkled in confusion.
I see a mouth that has told many lies.
I see teeth, white and glisting holding back secrets from within.
I see a tongue with bite marks from an unseen force.
I see cheeks, scarred and torn from the thorns of hell.
I see eyebrows, wet with blood and sweat.
I look around, nothing is there.
Finally I am able to meet my own gaze.
I see eyes, hazel in color. the eyes hold no happiness, or even a trace of warmth.
I only see hard, cold eyes filled to the brim with dispair.
The Mirror holds a reflection that I do not want to see.
The saddest part is that the reflection is of....
me.
