When My Sun Is Gone
Depression is like a cloud--
The sun was once fair,
Blinding everything to look white,
And the world was vivacious.
But in the corner,
Far away from the sun,
A cloud prowls unnoticed towards
The beautiful light to feed.
A flower sees the cloud,
And struggles to merge with the sun,
Desperate to take the light and make it her own again,
Wanting nothing but to be back to that sunny time--
Once the cloud comes,
There is no going back.
The sun has vanished,
And the rain has only just begun.
