Ours Once More
Build us a home, my love
We can call our own
The walls will be as strong as
Our wedding day vows
They will keep out the storms,
Leaving us warm and dry;
There is no need to fret,
It cannot be too small;
We will build when needed,
Making room for children, named when I was a girl.
Their presence won’t last long;
In the blink of an eye, they’ll be grown and gone;
While our family bliss lasts,
We shall tell them stories in our beautiful house-
Of fairies and princes conquering
evil queens with their lion hearts;
We will rock them to sleep,
And they will have sweet dreams;
They will wake in the morning,
All grown up, mature;
The house will be ours once more
