An Unknown Lover with an Unknown Face
How can you ache for something
You’ve never known?
Do others
Experience this?
Things occur like flashbacks
I lust for a faceless
Wish for another opportunity
Miss a complete stranger
I relive scenarios
And can feel his lips
Even though I haven’t had
My first kiss yet.
I can hear his voice,
Velvety and deeper than I’ve
Ever know.
I can run my fingers through his hair
And revel in the softness.
But I’ve never been this close
Or intimate to
Anyone
How can you remember something
That never happened?
