You Don't Know Me
When you get the first glance of me,
You say I’m snobby.
You say I’m stuck up,
That I’m the typical teenage technology dependent girl.
I’m not the cheerleader or the preppy girl that everyone knows,
Or the girl that every guy wants to date.
I may get Starbucks coffee and wear Victoria’s Secret yoga pants,
If you actually get to know me,
You’ll realize that I am courteous and loving.
I put down
my phone and enjoy time with my family.
I am the “quiet girl” until you get to know me.
I have a boyfriend who loves me for me.
I am like a book.
Do not judge me by my cover,
Because for all you know I could be a serial killer.
