Think of You
I can think of you
Even when the world is falling apart,
And everybody is throwing a fit.
You make me smile
Without ever needing to try
And I feel like I’m in the clouds.
There is no description
To the feeling you bring me
When you walk in the room and smile.
The way you carry yourself
And everything about you
Makes my mind race
And my heart becomes a ticking time bomb
Ready to explode when you are nearby.
I easily run out of words to say
Yet there is so much to talk to you about
And still I am speechless,
Even lost, when I’m around you.
I wish I knew what to say
Or the right thing to do;
But my mind freezes
And I am left wondering and clueless.
And I know the world is still spinning
And life goes on
But I feel alone, like everybody else has disappeared
Except you and me
Me and you.
