When Eyes Meet
Our eyes meet 1972
I was going from and you were coming to
And like my trip that night, in matter of seconds you were out of sight.
History is what I thought it was, just a sight of fading light
I see you again 1979
ahead in the line, drinking wine
My eyes found yours, and your eyes found mine
this moment could outlast time.
11 months later, we are forever together
not the strongest acid could make our love last less than forever
Nothing could happen where this love would be just a memoir.
