Me, baffled--you like me.
How I feel this year,
Is how I felt last year--how I felt every year.
You.
The only one.
Date one begins,
Me, jittery--you like me.
Before I knew it,
It was you and me--every day.
Irresistibly,
Undeniably,
Confidently,
At the speed of light--I fell for you.
I stay up into the wee hours,
Feeling deeply for you--there is no other.
Always,
Forever,
And even longer.
Bumps in the road--turn out to be just sand.
It is inherently simple,
Out of anyone and everyone--there is only one,
You.
