You would mean
Pain lies heavily on my heart
and pulls it into my stomach
burning with sparks of tears
my eyes
faintly rimmed red, barely open
blood drained from veins
you would mean
my throat letting go of my tongue
embers in my stomach
like a flash a lightning
a crumpling inwards, giving in
the corner of my mouth
persisting in flickering upwards
suddenly heart beating
arms and legs and limbs
finally
alive
