and days when the sun isn’t shining down at all.
Of course, when it rains, it pours.

and you feel like you’re going to break.
There are going to be days like this,
when their words feel like a knife in the back
and your own thoughts feel like daggers.
There are going to be days when the sun warms your face,
and the rain is only a drizzle.
Days where your laugh sounds like pure happiness,
and life feels like a dream.
There are going to be days like this,
but it’s important to remember,
after a heavy rainfall there is always a pot of gold and a rainbow.
