Rain, Rain
As the rain falls down and kisses my cheeks,
I run for shelter and search for heat.
Alli want is to go home and cuddle in my sheets.
As I hurry out of the rain my feet begin sliding,
Next thing I know I am gliding,
Holding on and fighting,
Trying not to embarrass myself because I may begin crying.
As I finally find shelter I regain heat,
Starting in my feet,
And it works its way up to my hat on my head named Pete.
So as I reflect on my day I learn something,
I learn rain is not my friend,
And I do not want to go near it again.
