Never Good Goodbyes
Lodged in your throat are the letters that signify the end in such a way that contradicts itself
You say goodbye but you can't do it without tears
The two parts of it make no sense
How can goodbye ever be good especially when it cuts off a story so abruptly like a novel ending mid-sentence of the climax?
We didn't get to find out if our love would crash and burn and realize it was faulty from the beginning
Yet we also never got to see if it would flourish and grow a little more every day
You left me without wanting to
How could that goodbye ever be good?
