Mustard Flowers
I look out the window
Seeing spreads of Yellow flowers Swaying with the wind.
My first thought not registering the minute details but looking closer I see them smiling, dancing, laughing.
As if sensing the festival of Lights close by, they empower themselves by radiating their already powerful Yellow Colour.
So that we puny humans who do not understand the sheer authority of these unbelievable flowers, cherish them as they are natural beings that give us Natural Light. During Diwali, they lighten up monotonous and endless roads.
They make one smile and thank Him for making such beautiful beings in the world, for making such a spirit.

During a road trip to my grandparent's farm, I saw these beautiful flowers lined up on either side of the road.
Their sheer power and beauty inspired me to write about them.
