By the Ocean
Bythe ocean,
Is where I roam
A place that I can call my own,
My one true home
By the ocean,
On the beautiful white beach,
With the hot sand beneath my feet,
And the blue sky stretching up to meet,
The horizons that go beyond reach
By the ocean,
Where the seagulls glide upon the water,
And the waves crash with the cliffs over yonder
It is then that I feel my spirit fly,
Fly into the beautiful blue sky
By the ocean,
Where the sun sets, slowly drowning in the darkness,
It is then the moon comes out to play,
And declares the death of day,
Even though the light fades,
The world does not become hopeless,
The darkness does not bring sorrow, but rather it aids
For you see,
The ocean is beautiful,
No matter, how it may be
The moon bathes it in silvery light,
And as I hold myself tight,
I know that by the ocean,
Is where I roam
The one place I can call my own,
My one and true home
