Free Fall
Falling
It’s not hard to do
All you have to do is lose your footing
To accidentally lean too far over the edge
To let go because you can’t hold on any longer
Accidents
They happen every day
To good people, and to bad
But what makes it an accident?
It’s said that there are no accidents
Is this true?
Fear
Everyone has fears
Of themselves, of other people, of other things
It causes you to scream, to sweat, to hide in the dark
You can overcome it, or it can overcome you
When you’re in a free fall
You can’t slow down or stop
All you hear is the air rushing past
As the ground rushes closer
