Red-Hot Winter MAG
A hot-tempered temperature chills frigid air.
Raging glaciers barrel through stiff ice,
Leaving nothing but bubbling, broiling water
in their wake.
Tiny specks of hurt and pain flutter across
a frozen globe.
These furious little flakes become a
blizzard-like protest,
Turning into icy-hot crystals of people’s irritation
That bombards land and water alike.
Yet, after the frostbite,
When the numbness subsides.
Bright buds bathe in iridescent moonlight,
Preparing for when spring arrives.
