Can You Relate
How can someone relate,
To the pain and despair.
Being Awaken from a dream,
To whom no one to share.
How can someone relate,
To the grief and sorrow.
To go through hell today,
Knowing nothings better tomorrow.
How can someone relate,
To the tragedies of the weak.
Day after wretched day,
Week after wretched week.
How can someone relate,
You can’t., You won’t.
You could, but you don’t
To see the pain in one’s eye
Yet still, you don’t.
How can someone relate,
You wouldn’t see, if I didn’t show,
The quick slit of a shallow wrist,
But start to cry, for the blood flow.
