A surface for hot breath on winter afternoons
fog forming for my childhood artwork

A portal through which crying eyes have observed falling stars
wishing things could change and not be what they are

A harrowing reflection staring back at me
showing me myself, who I’ve come to be
My Window
Just a sheet of glass, bolted to some wood
but my window has let me see things I never thought I would
