As I lay here in this horrendous silence,
My mind swarming with things,
Every minute, every second.
Devoted to thinking of who I am and who I am becoming.
The girl I once though could be saved, is slowly dying.
The need for freedom weighing heavily on my shoulders.
Patiently waiting for that window of opportunity.
The vision of a better life, a better future.
The ocean of possibility,
the chance for change,
the thoughts of continually staying lonely,
are driving me insane.
