Panic Is a Rocking Chair MAG
Panic is a rocking chair.
Relaxation sweeps across your body –
You sink into the comfort, and let your worries go.
Take a deep breath.
Your body is chocolate, and the chair is the sun.
Slowly, slowly you start to push
your body forward –
Sway forward, sway back.
Sway forward, sway back.
Sway forward, sway back.
Sway forward, forward, forward. Sway back, back, back.
Sway forrrrrrrward. Sway back.
Excitement rushes through your body.
You are flying – an immobilized bird
riding the wind.
You have wings made of clouds.
You are happy.
Then it hits you.
You sway too far forward.
You overcorrect and lean back.
A sharp breath is taken in,
And your legs go numb.
You want to scream out for help –
But it is too late.
You squeeze your eyes shut and prepare
for the worst.
You can feel the air pick up beneath the chair.
You defy gravity and come off the ground at a faster rate than your heart.
Your heart is beating faster and faster and faster.
Then everything is okay.
You open one eye.
Swish, creak. Swish, creak.
You exhale.
You sink into the comfort, and no longer worry.
Relaxation sweeps over your body.
