Ashamed Of Me
All I can think is how ashamed my uncle would be
If he knew what I was doing, what I'm saying
If he had a glimpse into today
He would know the regrets of tomorrow
He already warned me, but I'm not prone to listening
Especially when I can't see the dangers
I don't know what he would do or say
But I already see the disappointment in his eyes
And that disappointment is all I see
When I close my eyes and feel your fingers
Lingering, teaching me things I didn't use to know
I think of my uncle
How disappointed he would be
In me
How ashamed, of me
