I did it
Quieted the questions plaguing my mind
Silenced the situations swarming my brain
Ignored the warnings of the rational side of me
I did it
I texted you
Why would I do such a thing?
Because I wanted to
I wanted to see what you would do
Simply ignore me or maybe
Running take it to your mom who would running
Take it to mine
Pose it as a question on Tuesday night
Show it to the pope, asking
What shall I do?
Or maybe
"OMG, babe, I've missed you, too"
