Beauty in her scars
Her eyes are on the sky,
She's dreaming of the stars,
My eyes are on her,
She's beautiful despite her scars,
She's laying right beside me,
But I wish she was closer,
My heart's beating fast,
I feel like bread in a toaster,
We laugh among the trees,
A smile's plastered to my face,
My life has been at timeugly,
But her beauty is my escape,
She's a lily in a murky pond,
A flower by a polluted stream,
Tough sometimes I can't find sleep,
She's worth more than my lost dreams.
