My babygirl
I reach in my pocket
In a blind search
For a flat, smooth texture
Once it's been found
I retract my arm
Holding it,
Clenched in my hands
My fingers laced
Around this thick,
Heavy but light weight object
A comfortable distance away
It lights up in a bright,
Beautiful display of
Colors and shapes
Only to once more
Bring a smile to my face
With a perfect picture
To remind me of
a sweet, playful, energetic,
Flat out adorable baby girl
Who has her own
Little space
In my heart
