Times of Love
Acres of land painted over
With the deep crimson violet
Of a sun addressing its goodbyes
Steady stream of beaming light
Cutting through the pink fuchsia clouds
A moon lighting our way
Stars shining to us, burning for us
If you could count them all
Maybe you'd know
Just how much I love you
An egg yolk rising in the blue sky
Blue clarity riddled with white fluff
The sun says hello again
Lighting up the grains of sand
So I can tell you how much I love you
Within the sea, sand hides
Its ever glistening presence
If you looked at it
From the wrong end of a telescope
It'd be like a buzzing crowd
Prophesying its love to you
So I tell you this
Whether day or night
I love you just as much
Yes, my love stays the same
And as long as I can witness
Greetings from the sun and moon
Goodbyes when they leave for another day
Dusk, dawn, sunset, and sunrise
I will love you
I will love you forevermore
