Taste of Coffee
The taste of coffee rolling on my tongue
Is delightful, a warm hug for the soul
A handful of beans dropped,
Oh so carelessly, in boiling water
To let a beautiful essence seep from them
I see through the glass
The small beans that crowd the bottom
Of my prettiest of cups
As I stir the mixture a bit
They send up a cloud of brown fog
Enchanting taste, infused into the water
Bean from a beautiful tree
A water from a pure source running down rocks
A coffee, better than any other
A coffee I made and picked
Another cup as I proof a new one
