Hand in Hand
We could've drove all night for all I cared
We could've stayed together
Until the sun poked its head out of the horizon
We were meant for each other;
We went to the ends of forever
A place without any borders
And differences are all the same
The wind blowing in my hair
And you looking at me
Holding hands and driving
Laying in the grass to watch the night sky
Lighting your eyes, a glow in them
We echoed our love through the night
There was no limits to our dreams
Because even in old age we were young and free
Even within the confines our frail bodies gave us
We were the wild ones who found each other
A trace of our smiles lightened our lips
Soft gaze and stern glances from passer-bys
But we couldn't have cared less what they thought
We were all that mattered now
It was destiny, fate we stayed together
Our hearts beat as one
Echoing the same soft music of love
For I loved you and you loved me
So together we conquered the world
Hand in hand forever
