Self Hatred
A numb hatred I spew against myself
Amidst this frozen hell
Walking through the ice flames
That claw at me so savagely
Here is a permanent winter wildfire
A snowstorm of fire burning me
I go numb from the pain I caused myself
For all this was one of my inventions
To make me pay the price of my actions
That weren't bad; I was just seeing
A contorted reflection of myself
A self-hatred born of a snowflake
That decided to land on my face
And burn me in awry flames
