The Moon
I am an object in space
Looking down below
On all your pretty faces
Illuminated in my cold glow
I am a greying entity
Who's lived a thousand lives
Without any gravity
Revolving around a human hive
I am called a satellite
But mostly I am the moon
Up here, I am very light
To you, I'd be too heavy so soon
I am an object in space
That wishes you would notice me
And my battered face
But no one could ever hear me
Meteorites, and comets have beat me
But then again, it is my fate
Oh, it is my destiny
I could've left but now it's too late
