Melancholy
The melancholy within me
Gives birth to my poetry
A new ending to my life
And a new beginning without strife
Autumn in my words
As the sharp edge of a sword
And the sadness of winter rhymes
A day where there is no more time
The seasons of the hourglass
My fragile reflection on the glass
That twists and contorts to the lines
Even the most fine
But it dances when a smile creeps
Upon my dearly face, so weak
