Dark Shadows
Dark movies play,
In my bothered mind.
I try my best to forget,
But they're latched on all day.
As fast as I try to outrun them,
Stalking shadows follow faster.
Constant enemies of my happiness,
Make their home in troubled thoughts.
If I concentrate too long,
I worry, dread and sulk,
But if I sit bycertain lights,
Things don't seem so wrong.
