Red and Blue
You were Red.
I had never seen anything quite like you,
Like the warning signs all around me, telling me
"stay away."
Like the label on a danger zone,
Yet only succeeding in making me want to tresspass.
Like a big caution sign, saying
don't come any closer!
like the stream of passing lights,
like a blur,
like the color of everything I ever wanted.
I was Blue.
Like slow motion pictures no one really ever pays attention to,
like the sadness of the day,
the serenity of everything red.
Like the thundering coulds of melted sky in your eyes,
and the flashing lights, the ones that brough us together.
Blue and Red.
