One Connection
How could a peaceful world exist
If the mind that believes
Is fogged in slurs of ignorance,
Is discouraged by a malleable reality,
Or is crushed for fear's sake?
It is the genuine bond felt by pure intention
Of hearts that yearn
For understanding,
For empathy,
And for commitment to happiness.
The link that opens gateways for equality
Is by voices that speak
With a dream of peace,
With compassion for future generations,
And with hope for a better world.
