Word Heart
I cried,
And you left,
I lied,
You took a deep breath,
You told me you hated me,
I sobbed,
As if you could never take it back,
It took me a minute to relize,
It was just my anxiety,
As I rolled up the letter,
My brain with all the words anyone has ever said,
Stained there in print,
As I let go,
I want you to know,
It was so hard,
As I watched the paper roll down the block.
