Freedom
I remember a time
Where we were like cupcakes and roses
Soft and fragile as can be
Melting into one another
Delicate as glass slippers
And when we weren't so put together
It crumbled and cracked in its ugliness
When there was only one of us
And that wasn't me
It was you
Standing on the epoch of eternity
Alone. You were fine
I was fine
But I didn't like the lack of breathing room

It's a start.
