A Memory of Him
I have memento of one
With a putrid conception
His solicitude drowned
In a vile pool of odium
His deeds all uniform
His love non genuine
And his non existing care
Subsided in his notion
And now I’ve let go
Of his everlasting squalor
And found new ways
To express displeasure
With such flag in mind
It’s hard to believe
That finding one so cherubic
Could make love more heavy
