Proud and honorable, he admired his work
Athena stood tall reaching high in the sky
He knew what his next project would be

Inspired and hopeful, he started his work
He laid out his plan and constructed precisely
Olympia would know of his accomplishments

Hard Work and strength, he put together his work
He made a wooden frame and placed the marble
Workers worked day by day for 12 years

Precision and accuracy, he sculpted his work
the goddess of victory in one hand and the Scepter in the other
Every block made precisely and carefully

Proud and Honorable, he finished his work
standing 42 feet tall, it stood
everyone came to admire his work
