Snow Reflection
Time in white flakes
Passing down in crystal vessels
Crunched under boots
Sifted into brick streets
And wool niches
so lightly adorned
On icy hair
And hours passed-years
In a white tundra
In a cave far from then
Bustling city streets
Where figures
Are scribed in
Red clay smears
Illuminated by the ember hues
Of a stone pit fire
In the limestone
Domiciles of old
Even there it is ever
So softly snowing

This was based on a prompt given by my english teacher. I simply ran with the emotional string the piece evoked.
